Microsoft on Tuesday stated that 1 in every 14 downloads is malicious. Makes you want to be a little more careful on what sites you visit and what you download. They also stated Within the last two years, IE's SmartScreen has blocked more than 1.5 billion Web and download attacks, according to Jeb Haber, program manager lead for SmartScreen. I mostly use Firefox, but with this statistic I may think about using IE more. To read more on this story click here.

Do you have to install SmartScreen or is that just part of IE?
