I have heard some stories on how you have to pay certain places to recycle your old electronics. Finally someone had the right idea. Apple allows you to recycle your old computer, monitors and phones for free. Actually if you pc/phone/iPod is still in good shape they may even pay you for it(at least more than if it was sitting in your basement)! For more details and to check it out, click here. What a good idea. May cost some in postage, but still a good idea.
